Meridian’s dispatchers were coordinating forty technicians through a shared spreadsheet and a group chat. Jobs slipped, double-bookings happened weekly, and nobody could say what was finished until invoices went out.
The system we built
A custom web application: job intake, technician assignment, live status boards, and automatic customer notifications, all in one place, usable from a truck cab on a phone.
Results
- Dispatch time per job cut from minutes to seconds
- Double-bookings eliminated in the first month
- Same-day invoicing became the default
